Stuffed dates, delivered across Bali
PITT makes stuffed Medjool dates in a small kitchen in Canggu and sends them out by GoJek or Grab. This page is the practical part: where we deliver, how fast, and what it costs.
What arrives
A pouch holds three whole Medjool dates, about 100 g. Each date is split by hand, filled, and dipped in Belgian 70% dark chocolate. There are four flavours: Pistachio, Peanut, Coconut and Strawberry Yogurt. No refined sugar, syrup or condensed milk goes into any of them: the sweetness is the date.
One pouch is Rp 139.000. You can order one, three or six pouches of a flavour, and mix flavours in the same order.
Where we deliver and what the ride costs
Anywhere a GoJek or Grab rider will go on the island. The ride is priced by distance, exactly like any other trip, and it is not included in the price of the pouch. A few minutes from Canggu costs very little; the far side of the island costs more. We quote the fare back to you before anything leaves the kitchen.
How fast
Pre-orders are open now and deliveries start on 20 October. After that, an order placed before 6pm goes out the same or the next day. Once the box is with the rider it moves at the speed of the ride, so nearby orders arrive within the hour. Everything is packed cold before it leaves.
The most useful thing you can give us is a Google Maps pin. Written addresses in Bali rarely survive the trip; the pin is what the rider follows.
When it gets to you
Put it in the fridge. Cold is when Pistachio, Peanut and Coconut are at their best: the chocolate snaps and the filling firms up. Strawberry Yogurt is better kept in the freezer, where it eats like an ice cream bite. All four keep in the freezer if you want them to last.
